APPEAL FOR MONTHLY SPONSORSHIP

We write to humbly solicit your support in assisting us meet some of our recurrent needs for the less privileged. Our target population is orphans and vulnerable children, widows and people living with HIV/AIDS in our care. We are in need of 20 partners each to commit N10, 000 per`month`to help sponsor any of our monthly orphans and vulnerable children’s club, widows group and people living with HIV/AIDS support group meetings. The aim of these club and groups is to give them a sense of belonging, opportunity to share experiences, receive reformative and transformative trainings as well as psychosocial, educational, medical, economic and welfare supports. So far, this club and groups have a membership strength of over 300. This sponsorship will help meet the following needs during these meetings:

  • Multivitamins/immune boosters (HIV/AIDS support group only)
  • Foodstuff to support beneficiaries (widows and HIV/AIDS support groups only)
  • Workshop facilitators’ honorarium (Health enlightenment, vocational skills, basic business management principles e.t.c.)
  • Refreshment and transport fare for beneficiaries
  • Event venue and rentals
  • Volunteers monthly allowances
  • Gift packs (Children’s Club only)
  • Administration and Logistics

APPEAL FOR SPONSORSHIP OF JAKIN CHILDREN’S CLUB END OF THE YEAR PARTY

Compliments of the season.

We are indeed grateful to God for using you to bless us thus far. We thank God for his blessings upon you life and we pray for his continuous protection, provision and presence upon your life as we draw closer to the end of this glorious year. We shall celebrate 2012 in good health together in Jesus name, Amen.

Jakin N.G.O is planning to hold an end of the`year`party for two hundred and fifty (250) members of Jakin Children’s Club along with 100 caregivers inclusive of members of Jakin Support group for people living with HIV/ Aids and Widows Group.

JCC was inaugurated on March 13th 2010 to bring together street orphans and vulnerable children in a well structured environment to receive various reformative and transformative trainings. The group which started with less than 30 children has grown to over 300 as today.

So far in 2011, the children have received trainings on measles, physical education, epilepsy, drug abuse and illicit trafficking, tuberculosis, gender based violence, malaria and proper hand washing.  65 of them also went on an excursion to the palms where they watched a film at the cinema. 300 of them received basic school items during 2011 DRESS A CHILD FOR SCHOOL PROJECT.

JCC members have truly been reformed and transformed by this experience. However, we need to crown their`year`with another shower of love to make them feel blessed to be alive in this season, we therefore humbly solicit your support in making the dream of hosting an end of the`year`party for them a reality.
